A safe space to explore everything we are feeling and experiencing as creators and performers in the midst of this pandemic

As performing artists, many of us are feeling anxious, worried, adrift and uncertain about the future of our industry. Livelihoods have been wiped out and we have no idea when lights will go up in theatres again or when music venues will open their doors. It’s a hugely challenging time for creatives everywhere.

I would love to offer you a safe (virtual) space to explore what you’re feeling and experiencing right now, to vent if you need to, and to try and make sense of this unprecedented crisis we find ourselves in. What we do as creators is absolutely essential in bringing joy and colour to the world. Our industry brings people together, allowing us to tell our stories, sing our songs and explore what it means to be human. People all over the world have found comfort and solace in the work of artists throughout this crisis. We now need to make sure the artists are OK.

If this sounds like something you would find helpful right now, you can register your interest below for a one-to-one session with me or for a group (of no more than 4) Zoom call where you can share your thoughts, feelings and perspectives with other people in your industry. Both one-to-one and group sessions are free and I’ll aim to group people from similar sectors together where possible. We may not come up with the answers right away but the old adage that ‘a problem shared is a problem halved’ has never rung more true. Wrapping words around what we are feeling right now, brainstorming, collaborating and identifying the opportunities are all essential to finding clarity and a path forward. We are creative, we will find a way, and we will do it together.

If this resonates and you’d like to connect, just select one of the options from the drop-down in the form below (let me know what area of the arts you’re in in the message) and I’ll be in touch very soon to get something organised. I’m really looking forward to connecting with you.

Let's connect!
